What we do
Hickey Fabrication Services successfully achieved CE Certification in 2016.
CE Marking of structural steelwork has become a legal requirement in Ireland since 1st July 2014. Manufacturers must be audited and then will only be allowed to manufacture structures within the execution class that the audit deems them competent to produce.
Clients or main contractors who engage a steelwork contractor should carry out due diligence and should only appoint a steelwork contractor certified with an Execution Class equal to that for the project in order to comply with legislation
For HFS to pass this audit and achieve the execution class HFS had to carry out the following;
Determine the execution class for the product range
Implement the complete Factory Production Control System
Implement Welding procedures & testing (where required)
Determine & Develop the required product testing
In conjunction with the client, at HFS we design and install clean room parts, including sink units, gowning trolleys, step-overs, locker units, shoe lockers, and pass-throughs. All our clean room furniture can be made from 304 or 316 stainless steel. We also supply and install edge protection, skirting and all types of dispensing units for the clean room environment
Our Design team of Project Engineers, design engineers and CAD technicians have a combined experience of 130 years in the pharmaceutical, food, manufacturing and construction industries and can offer our clients a wide range of services from design proposal development and project costing through to prototype / sample stage and on to product delivery and installation.
